We need to update FAANG

We need a new acronym for the most desirable companies to work for!

You're familiar with the acronym FAANG, I'm sure. It stands for Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google - allegedly the five companies every college graduate dreams of working for, that they must work for to succeed at life.

First of all, Facebook is now part of the Meta umbrella and Google is part of the Alphabet umbrella, so that alone needs to be updated. Would that make it MAANA? That's silly.

And is that the order of desirability for those companies? Highly doubtful. So it needs to be reworked....

How about this:

DAAAMN!

Disney, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Netflix!

Or DAAAMNU - add Uber to the end. Dunno how that would play in our most religious areas, though.

Or DAAAMNUU - add USA, as in the public sector field. Probably better to work for the CDC than Netflix at this point.

Actually, now we're really getting silly. But it's a start. As for now, that covers it - the eight employers that you want to work for to make it in life.

What would you put in the new Essential Employers Acronym?

(This is a short one this month, because I wanted you guys to know I'm not dead. Yet. And I'm taking John Waters' advice and not putting my best ideas on social media for public consumption. If you see this idea after this date on Threads or reddit, they STOLE it from me. LOL)
